Bible Museum Opens New ‘All Creation Sings’ Worship Exhibit

The Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C., is currently running a new exhibit on the theme of worship. CBN NewsThe exhibit is called “All Creations Sing” Psalm 148proclaims, “Praise the name of the Lord!” Participants will engage in a 45-minute experience that questions what worship is.

“When someone says ‘worship’ to me, I immediately think of what we do in church on Sundays before the pastor gets up and preaches. That’s worship, certainly worship. But it’s so much more than that, as the Bible talks about worship. So the story is the story of the Bible, it takes us from creation and Genesis all the way through to Revelation,” said Garrett Hinton, chief revenue officer at the Museum of the Bible.

The Museum of the Bible partnered with a group called CREATR to bring in some of the biggest names in Christian music for the project.

“Think about people like Jackie Hill Perry, Tasha Cobbs, Brandon Lake, Kari Jobe, Cody Carnes, Phil Wickham, Brooke Ligertwood, Chris Tomlin — that’s an incredible group of people who came together to create this organization called CREATR, lending their voices to this organization and really setting this up so that before you go into this experience, your hearts and your minds are prepared to talk about worship, what worship is, who you think is appropriate for worship,” Hinton said.

“All Creation Sings” contains four acts as part of a worship adventure that can only be described as heavenly.

Mom Laura and daughter Madison DeMichael, both from Ohio, were amazed by the experience.

“To see the word of God come to life right before my eyes and to be a part of the din of praise, as I said at the beginning, a constant stream of praise resounding to our Lord and our Savior, was, without a doubt, an amazing experience,” Laura told CBN News.

“Oh my goodness, it was incredible. The colors, the sounds, I’d never seen anything like it,” her daughter Madison said.

Matthias Walter, chief marketing officer for the Museum of the Bible, explained that “All Creation Sings” is meant to remind visitors of their original purpose as children of God.

“Worship is our purpose. We were created for it. So God created us, He created our universe. That’s where it all begins. And I think discovering this and knowing the greatness of our creation, the greatness of God’s design in our existence, leads us to a place of humility and really introspection,” Walther said. And I think that’s always a good starting point for finding your place in the context of our existence in this world. And I think that’s especially appealing to people who don’t come from a faith background, because it gives them a new north star for figuring out, ‘So what am I here for?'”
