Country singer Jason Aldean and his wife, Brittany Aldean, attended the Republican National Convention on Thursday night and sat directly next to Donald Trump.
by Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Aldean is scheduled to perform at a party the committee plans to host at the Potawatomi Casino Hotel to close out the Republican National Convention.

Following Saturday’s assassination attempt on the former president, Aldean dedicated his song “Try That In A Small Town” to Trump. The country singer was performing in Holmdel, New Jersey, and a video shared on social media captured his words to Trump.

“President Trump is a friend of mine, so I want to send him this next song,” Aldean said. Tick tock. “We all know what’s going to happen in November, so it’s OK. You know there’s a lot of (expletive) out there. This song is really about that, so I’m dedicating this song to the president.”

“This is what a warrior looks like! This is my man,” the caption began. “Donald Trump, we are thinking of you and praying for you and your family. God has bigger plans for you and I think we all know what they are by now. Our hearts also go out to the families of the victims who will be the ones picking up the pieces from the wreckage of this despicable act.”
