Mark Zuckerberg says Trump with fist in air after getting shot is ‘one of the most bada** things I’ve ever seen in my life’

Mark Zuckerberg said the image of former President Donald Trump raising his fist after he was shot in an assassination attempt last weekend was “one of the most incredible things I’ve ever seen in my life.”

Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook parent company Meta, offered his reaction during an interview Thursday at the company’s headquarters in Menlo Park, California. Bloomberg reported.

“I think that’s why so many people like him.”

“There’s obviously a lot of crazy stuff going on in the world right now,” Zuckerberg told Emily Chang of “The Circuit,” part of Bloomberg Originals, referring to the attempted assassination of President Trump last Saturday in Butler, Pennsylvania.

“On a personal note, watching Donald Trump stand up after being shot in the face, hold up the American flag and pump his fist in the air… [in the background] “This is one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen,” Zuckerberg said with a laugh in disbelief.

Zuckerberg added: “In some ways, as an American, it’s hard not to identify with that spirit and that fighting spirit, and I think that’s why so many people like him.”

The social media mogul also said in the interview that he won’t endorse either President Trump or Democrat Joe Biden.

It would be a stretch to call Zuckerberg a Trump fan.

The day after the January 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol, Zuckerberg announced that Facebook and Facebook-owned Instagram had “indefinitely” banned President Trump from using their social media platforms.

In early 2022, former Attorney General Bill Barr said that suppression of reporting about Hunter Biden’s laptop by legacy media and big tech companies “unquestionably” influenced the 2020 presidential election.
