Jake Paul entered the ring at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida in a gladiator spirit and gave it his all to defeat “The King of Violence” Mike Perry on Saturday night.
Perry was knocked down in the sixth round by Paul’s ferocious punches, and when the referee counted to eight and helped Perry to his feet, Perry stumbled as he tried to return to his corner, and the bout was over.

Paul won the bout by technical knockout.
Perry displayed his toughness throughout the fight, and although Paul knocked him down early in the first and second rounds, Perry fought with his hands down and withstood Paul’s jabs and power punches for longer than most probably expected.
“He’s very tough,” Paul said of Perry.
The ringside doctor examined Perry one last time before the start of round five, and Paul bided his time, waiting for his final blow in the sixth round.

For Perry, this was just a stop on the road to bare-knuckle glory: He is 5-0 in the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC), with his last win coming against Thiago Alves in April.
Paul’s seventh professional knockout brings his career record to 10-1 and he must begin training again physically and mentally for Mike Tyson.
Paul and Tyson were scheduled to fight on Saturday night in Arlington, Texas, but the fight has been postponed until November due to health reasons. For now, the bout is expected to go ahead as scheduled.
Tyson, 58, hasn’t fought a professional bout since 2005 and hasn’t won a professional fight since 2003.
“Mike Tyson, you’re the next big boy,” Paul said.
