Travis Kelce brings ‘killa’ mustache back for Chiefs training camp

We will return to the training ground with a new look.

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce caused a media stir on Sunday when he showed up to the team’s annual training camp with a mustache.

“Killa Stache is back,” Chiefs wrote on X.

The fans warmly welcomed the 34-year-old’s arrival.

Prior to this appearance, fans and critics will likely remember him sporting a beard, but Kelsey and his hairstyle are no more.

Kelce entered camp after a stellar 2023 season in which he recorded 93 receptions for 984 yards and five touchdowns.

His performance earned him ninth consecutive Pro Bowl selection and helped the Chiefs win back-to-back Super Bowl titles.

In the final game against the 49ers, the four-time All-Pro tight end finished with 93 yards on nine receptions, including a key catch in overtime.

This marked the first day back for preseason for Kelce and his teammates, and they will practice every day until the season begins in August.

Joining Kelce in his preseason activities was star-studded quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who brought some exciting news.

Mahomes and his wife, Brittany, recently revealed the gender of his “soon-to-be new teammate.”

The couple’s three-year-old daughter, Sterling Skye, revealed that their third child is a girl through a fun game of tic-tac-toe.

With the much-anticipated NFL offseason over, Kelce returned with a new look alongside Mahomes and the rest of the Chiefs roster.

Their team will be looking to extend their history of winning three straight championships after opening the 2024 season on Sept. 5 against the Ravens.
