Caitlin Clark has exchange with Vanessa Bryant, daughters at All-Star Game

Fever star Kaitlyn Clark shared a heartwarming moment with the late Kobe Bryant’s wife Vanessa and their family during the WNBA All-Star celebration.

The encounter happened on the Saturday before the U.S. national team played against the WNBA in an all-star game that featured many all-stars who were not selected for the national team.

Clark made his way to the courtside seating area and met Vanessa and her daughters Natalia, Bianka and Capri.

It’s worth noting that Clark and Bryant’s youngest daughter, Capri, happened to be wearing matching Nike Kobe 6 PEs, something the Rookie of the Year candidate seemed to highlight when they met.

Clark finished with just four points in 26 minutes, making 2-of-9 field goals and 0-of-7 three-pointers, but he did have a game-high 10 assists (an All-Star Game record for a rookie) and committed just two turnovers.

This season, Clark is averaging 17.1 points, 8.2 assists and 5.8 rebounds per game.

She currently leads the league in assists and assists per game.

The WNBA team was led by All-Star Arike Ogunbowale, who was also not selected for the USA team.

The four-time All-Star scored 34 points on 10-of-20 shooting, including 8-of-13 from deep, to set the league’s All-Star Game scoring record and be named All-Star Game MVP for the second time in his career.

Ogunbowale started in the backcourt alongside Clark, but all of her points came in the second half.
