First appeared on FOX: House Republicans are pushing a new resolution calling for the firing of U.S. Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle over the assassination attempt on former President Trump.
Rep. Nick Langworthy of New York said on Monday: A tense hearing On Capitol Hill, Republicans and Democrats alike expressed frustration with what they saw as a lack of candor from Cheatle’s responses. The bill already has support from several Republicans on the House Oversight Committee.
Langworthy told Fox News Digital that Cheatle “must be held accountable for his unacceptable failure to ensure the safety of President Trump and those attending the rally on July 13th.”…read more
