MSNBC’s Wallace Fawns over ‘Extraordinary’ Kamala Harris

MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace said on “Deadline” Monday that Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign slogan against former President Donald Trump was “prosecutors versus felons.”

“There’s a lot of great things about Kamala Harris. There are a lot of indications that she’s going to be the nominee. One of them, something that never happens on the campaign trail, is a bumper sticker that says, ‘Prosecutor meets Felon.’ Come on, it’s Day One,” Wallace said.

“It’s good to see that everybody, and everybody today, is talking about this and there’s been this rallying around her,” said Basil Smick Jr., a political strategist.

He continued, “That talent, that skill set is now at the forefront in prosecuting convicted felons, repeat offenders, standing across from her, and that changes the whole dynamic.”

He added, “They’re going to attack her on immigration and immigration issues. They’re also going to start attacking her about her own ethnicity as the child of Jamaican and South Asian parents. She’s going to be attacked on the economy, but then they’re going to attack whether she’s qualified to have the job she has. We’re already seeing these attacks. The New York Post has called her the president of DEI.”

“These racist and gender-based attacks are just beginning, and have already begun. I have long been concerned about those who have called for Joe Biden to resign, and I hope they will use that same energy to defend Kamala Harris,” Smickle concluded.

“I don’t think this country is ready to elect the first convicted felon as president,” Wallace said.
