The Secret Service has advised the Trump campaign to begin holding rallies indoors following the assassination attempt on former President Trump.

The Trump campaign has reportedly said it plans to hold future events indoors for safety reasons.

The campaign’s next two events will be held at a multi-purpose arena in Charlotte, North Carolina, and a hockey arena in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

This was the day that Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle announced her resignation.

“I take full responsibility for any security failings,” Cheatle wrote in his resignation letter to staff. “In light of recent events, it is with a heavy heart that I have made the difficult decision to step down as director.”
