Jordan Addison has quickly become a fan favorite in Minnesota, but he’s had quite an eventful offseason.
Earlier this month, the Vikings wide receiver was arrested near Los Angeles International Airport on suspicion of drunk driving.
The Los Angeles Daily News reported Sunday, citing an arrest report, that Addison was found asleep at the wheel of a vehicle on Interstate 105. Responding officers reportedly found a white Rolls Royce blocking one lane with the driver asleep at the wheel.

This was not Addison’s first driving accident. Prior to training camp last year, Addison was accused of driving his Lamborghini at 140 mph in a 55 mph speed zone.
Addison apologized for that incident but said the latest incident has put him in a “dark place.”
But he says the support he received helped him get through it.
“I never thought it would happen, but it was really important. I was in a dark place. I was down, but they really encouraged me, encouraged me to come out here and still perform at a high level,” Addison said at training camp on Wednesday. “So with everything that’s going on right now, I’m going to put it behind me and still perform at a high level and come out here and give the fans what they paid for.”

He was selected 23rd overall in the first round of the 2023 draft and just finished his first season with the Vikings, where he received a ton of extra targets due to injuries and recorded 70 catches for 911 yards and 10 touchdowns. Justin Jefferson I struggled all season.
TJ Hockenson will start the season on the PUP list after suffering a torn ACL late last year, but the 22-year-old still figures to be a target.
