Former NBA star Dwyane Wade is garnering attention after making an inappropriate “pronoun” joke during a basketball broadcast at the Paris Olympics on Sunday.
During the first half of the U.S. game against Serbia, Wade, who was commentating on NBC’s Olympic broadcast, said of LeBron James, “Everybody knows his pronouns: he/him!”
But Wade delivered the pronoun line soon after, during the third quarter, when he said of James: “My fellow Americans, he is known as LeBron James. I know him personally. His pronouns are he/him.”
Fox News reported that Wade Said Something similar was said about Kevin Durant during the same broadcast.
Social media users quickly began commenting on Wade’s pronoun joke.
“Everyone knows his pronouns!”

“His pronouns are he/him” Dwyane Wade is a total buffoon. Using pronouns has always been stupid, but this might be the most stupid example I’ve ever heard. https://t.co/6TjbfZdTTT

Wade, of course, is well known for indulging in his teenage son’s decision to “transition” to female and for being a staunch supporter of transgenderism.
