North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper has passed on the bid to be Vice President Kamala Harris’ running mate in this election, according to The New York Times.

Cooper has been seen in recent days as a leading candidate to be Harris’ running mate.
Mitch Kokai, a senior political analyst at the John Locke Foundation, told Fox News Digital early Monday that the North Carolina governor is considered a “good fit” for Harris.
