Federal authorities have warned that the Venezuelan street gang Tren de Aragua appears to have given what authorities say is the “green light” to attack and kill police officers.
A bulletin from the Colorado Center for Intelligence and Analysis, a screenshot of which was shared with Fox News Digital, warned that police departments in New Mexico had received information from federal partners that their members were being encouraged to attack police officers in Denver.
“The Albuquerque, New Mexico Police Department (APD) is issuing this Officer Safety Bulletin to inform law enforcement agencies of information regarding the Tren de Aragua criminal organization and reports that TDA members in Denver have been given ‘permission’ to shoot and attack police,” the statement said.
