Sen. Raphael Warnock, D-Ga., said on MSNBC’s “All In” on Tuesday that the energy at Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign rally in Atlanta was “electric.”
“Tonight’s rally is in full swing. As you can see, the energy here is electric. The rally is actually over but there’s still a lot of excitement going on. You can feel it on the ground. I actually just came in from Washington, D.C. with the vice president and we were driving through Atlanta and we saw people lining the streets to greet the vice president in battleground state Georgia. I saw them standing on bridges. We know from our experience in Georgia that if we show up, we will win. The road to the White House goes through Georgia. I think the vice president felt that here tonight.”
He added, “If myself and my colleague Jon Ossoff and African-Americans and Jews can win Georgia, Kamala Harris can win Georgia. The contrast between these two campaigns couldn’t be starker. It’s literally criminals versus prosecutors. But more importantly, the contrast between Project 2025, which is trying to cut civil service, and Project 2025, which is trying to cut Head Start.”
