Cornerback Mario Goodrich, who was released by the Eagles on Tuesday, remained in the NFC East when the Giants acquired him on Wednesday.
Goodrich, 24, went undrafted out of Clemson University but was teammates with Giants defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence in 2018.
Goodrich spent the 2022 season on the practice squad before appearing in four games with the Eagles in 2023, making one start.
The Giants waived cornerback Aaron Robinson this week, who tore his ACL in Week 4 of the 2022 season and never returned to the field.
The Eagles waived Goodrich to make room for offensive lineman Nick Gates, who spent four seasons with the Giants and started 29 games.
The Eagles added Gates to bolster their depth at the position after suffering several injuries on the offensive line during training camp.

To make room for Goodrich on the roster, cornerback Stanley Thomas-Oliver was waived due to a non-football injury.
