Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have issued a stern warning to parents about preventing child suicide and cyberbullying, and the importance of child safety online.
“Our kids are still young … 3 and 5. They’re amazing,” Markle said in a new, confessional interview set to air on television. “CBS Sunday Morning.”

“But as a parent, all you want to do is protect your kids.”
Markle has two children with Prince Harry: Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibeth, three.
“If we look at what’s happening in the online space, we can see there’s a lot of work to be done there and we’re happy to be part of that positive change,” Markle added.

In an exclusive preview clip, “CBS Sunday Morning’s” Jane Pauley pointed out, “When a child asks for help, you hope someone will help them.”
“If you know how to help,” Prince Harry interjected.
“We’ve reached the stage at this point where almost every parent needs to be a paramedic,” Harry said, “and even the best paramedics in the world wouldn’t be able to spot the signs of suicide. That’s the scary thing about this.”

It will be the couple’s first joint interview since their explosive Oprah Winfrey interview, which exposed royal drama.
The TV mogul interviewed the couple for a special in 2021, a year after their decision to step back as senior members of the royal family, and opened up about the hardships of royal life. The explosive interview was watched by an estimated 50 million people worldwide.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s two-hour long interview covered a range of topics that have further strained their relationship with the royal family, including allegations about racism.

Markle, who is biracial, said in the interview that working as a member of the royal family had made her feel isolated and miserable, leading her to consider suicide, and that when she was pregnant with her son Archie, Prince Harry told her there had been “concerns and discussions” from members of the royal family about the baby’s skin colour.
In response to the inflammatory accusations, Buckingham Palace released a statement to Fox News Digital.

“The whole family is saddened to learn how challenging the last few years have been for Prince Harry and Meghan,” the palace said in a statement. “The issues raised, particularly those of race, are disturbing. While recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately.”
“Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much-loved members of the family,” the statement concluded.

Following their explosive interview with Oprah, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have continued to speak out about their experiences within the royal family.
Prince Harry and Markle spoke candidly about their days as working royals in a documentary series released on Netflix in 2022.
