Including Hollywood celebrities, Modern Family Starring Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Emily in Paris With star Ashley Park RuPaul’s Drag Race Star Jinkx Monsoon and others are set to headline a fundraiser, “Dance Party for Kamala,” on Thursday at the famed LGBTQ bar The Abbey in West Hollywood.
The “dance party” fundraiser supporting Vice President Kamala Harris’ 2024 presidential campaign included former presidential candidate Bachelor’s degree Starring Colton Underwood, Glee Star Darren Criss and singer Betty Who report by variety.
Additional attendees will reportedly include fitness influencer Caleb Marshall, internet personalities Dexter Mayfield, Haley Jordan, Allison Florea and Los Angeles City Council Member Nithya Raman.
Ticket prices range from $25 for general admission to $10,000 for chair admission, which includes access to an advance reception and reserved seating at a table of six.
The “dance party” will be hosted by Harris National Finance Committee members Todd Hawkins and Justin Mikita, along with The Abbey owner Tristan Shukcraft.

Harris’ fundraiser at the LGBTQ bar will take place on the same day that Algerian fighter Imane Kherif, who was disqualified from the International Boxing Association’s (IBA) 2023 World Boxing Championships after failing a gender eligibility test, wins a boxing match at the 2024 Paris Olympics against Italian fighter Angela Carini in just 46 seconds.
Notably, the idea of men competing against women in women-only sports is supported by Democrats.
“Kamala Harris supports this… vote accordingly,” investment banker John Lefebvre said in a post on X on Thursday, sharing a video of Khelif battling Kallini at the Olympics, to which Tesla CEO and X owner Elon Musk responded by challenging Harris to “deny it.”

But Vice President Harris’ denial that she supports men competing against women may not catch on quickly. I boasted. As well as refraining from excluding men from women-only spaces, she spoke of efforts to make men more comfortable in women-only spaces through taxpayer-funded gender reassignment surgery.
“When I was Attorney General [of California]”I learned that the California Department of Corrections was interfering with prisoner surgery,” Harris said. “There was one particular incident, and when I found out about that incident, I worked behind the scenes to make sure that that transgender woman got the services that she deserved, but also did other things.”
“I secured policy change in California to ensure that all transgender inmates in prison have access to the health care they want and need,” Harris added. “I know it was historic in California, but I believe I was the first, maybe one of the first, in the nation to push for this policy in the Department of Corrections.”
In June, Breitbart News reported that a male inmate who was living as a woman in a California prison was transferred out of the women’s facility after being charged with raping a woman in a shower stall.
