The family of late NFL quarterback Dwayne Haskins is suing his widow for “constant harassment.”
Haskins died at age 24 on April 9, 2022, after being hit by a truck on a South Florida highway.
And since then, his family and his widow don’t seem to get along very well.

“Since the tragic deaths of their son and brother, the Haskins family has been subjected to constant harassment by Defendants whenever they attempt to mention his name, image or likeness in any public forum, including on social media,” the lawsuit states. Sports Law Reporter Jason Morin.
Morin said the lawsuit alleges that Haskins’ widow, Calabria Haskins, “contacted Instagram to request that the accounts of Haskins’ parents be disabled” in May 2024. It also says that Calabria “challenged the establishment of the Haskins Family Foundation.”
OutKick adds Haskins’ parents claim Calabraya tried to take a painting of the quarterback that was on their property at a Maryland memorial.
According to Outkick, Calabria has refused to provide an accurate account of Haskins’ assets and possessions, and has also refused to give Haskins his ashes.

The estate of the late NFL quarterback reached a “partial settlement” last year with the driver of the truck that killed him, as well as its owner and broker. Haskins’ family sued, accusing the truck driver of speeding, careless driving and carrying a load that exceeded the legal weight limit.
The quarterback, who died just weeks before his 25th birthday, had a blood-alcohol content of 0.20 percent at the time of his death, according to the Broward County Coroner’s Office.
The report also noted that he had traces of ketamine and norketamine in his system, painkillers prescribed by a doctor that are known to be used recreationally. But his lawyers also argue that he was “targeted and drugged” as part of a “conspiracy to blackmail and rob.” No criminal charges have been filed in connection with these allegations, and no evidence has been presented in court to substantiate any of the claims.
According to the report, a woman who was with Haskins told investigators he ran out of gas just before dawn on Interstate 595 near Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and went outside in the dark to get gas before he was hit by a vehicle.
Haskins starred in Ohio State University In 2018, he set several school passing records and was named MVP of both the Big Ten Championship Game and the Rose Bowl win over the Washington Huskies.

Haskins, who was selected by Washington in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft, was released by the team after going 3-10 over two seasons. Pittsburgh signs for 2021 season He was listed as the backup quarterback but did not play in the game.
