Mosab Hassan Yousef, author of “From Hamas to America,” said Monday that Vice President Kamala Harris and the Biden administration are not acting quickly enough to stem rising tensions in the Middle East, particularly between Israel and Iran.
Yousef, who defected to Israel in 1997 and converted to Christianity in 1999, is the son of Hamas co-founder Sheikh Hassan Yousef.
“This is total denial,” he said Monday night on Fox News’ “Hannity.” “This is Kamala Harris trying to turn a blind eye to reality.”

“why [do] They want to justify Islamic violence. [if] “This is part of their life and we have to coexist with Islam as it is,” Yousef said, criticizing Harris’ comments on terrorism amid Iranian threats against Israel in recent days. “The more we justify terror and violence, the more we fuel their bloodlust. This is unacceptable.”
Yousef argued that the Biden-Harris administration’s failure to act quickly has worsened the Middle East conflict.
“The current crisis on the brink of a regional war is the result of the US government’s hesitation,” he said.

“Iran, or actually not the Islamic Republic, and the Ayatollahs are not just attacking Israel,” Yousef continued. “America is the arch devil for them. They always cry ‘Death to America’ before they say ‘Death to Israel.'”
“First of all, this is a strategic enemy of the United States, and in fact Israel is fighting on behalf of the United States in the region,” he said. “If you look at this hesitant policy towards the Middle East since October 7, you’re basically seeing Iran trying to get a nuclear weapon.”

“We hide our heads in the sand and leave them alone,” Yousef said. “It won’t be long before they perfect their nuclear bomb. We want to give the Ayatollah weapons of mass destruction and we are watching. We look at his nuclear program and we are in total denial. This is madness!”
