CNN senior investigative reporter Tamara Kiblawi wrote online:[s] … Zionism,” she was the lead author of a widely cited paper this week that argues that Hamas is stronger than Israel is willing to admit.
of article Israel insisted it had only damaged, not destroyed, some Hamas battalions, casting doubt on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s claims of a near victory – a key part of his push for arms supplies from the United States.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) denied the allegations and are quoted in the article, but the story has gone viral in Israel, with Army Radio reporting CNN’s allegations as a front-page story on Monday.
However, one of the article’s main sources, retired U.S. Army Colonel Peter Mansour, has openly supported a Palestinian state even after the October 7 terrorist attacks, revealing the article’s less-than-blatant political bias against an Israeli victory.
And then there’s Kiblawi, who, as analyst Eitan Fishberger pointed out on X (formerly Twitter), has a long and radical history.

Other Social Media Posts Quote According to critics, Kiblawi appears to express other radical anti-Israel views.
Kiblawi’s official CNN biography mentions her freelancing for “international media” in Beirut, but according to Fishberger, one of the outlets she wrote for was Al-Akhbar English. Identified As a pro-Hezbollah, anti-American publication.
Neither CNN nor Kiblawi responded to requests for comment via X.
Asked about the CNN article on Tuesday, Israeli government spokesman David Mensah called the article “shoddy” and said Israel had in fact “crushed” Hamas, even if “fragments” and “shards” of Hamas were reconvening in various places.
“We are dismantling them, slowly, steadily, with precise intelligence,” he said. Hamas would regroup if given the opportunity, he said, but Israel was “crushing” the terrorist organization. “We are finishing this job,” he concluded.
