Jonathan Owens in awe of Simone Biles after Olympic dominance

Bears safety Jonathan Owens couldn’t be happier that his wife, Simone Biles, won four medals, including three golds, at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

“Unbelievable!!! People wouldn’t understand. Warriors,” Owens said in a quote-tweet on social media, describing the mental and physical challenges required to perform 17 routines in Paris.

In another quote post, Owens added, “Babe I love you so much. I’m so proud of you.”

The history-making Olympian posted a photo on Instagram of her new medals, which include three gold and one silver.

“It’s exceeded my wildest dreams,” Biles said.

“So proud of you, baby,” Owens also commented on the post.

The Bears gave Owens permission to miss part of training camp to go to the Olympics and cheer on his wife.

He signed a two-year contract with Chicago in March after one year with the Packers.

Owens, 29, has previously said that when he started dating Biles he had no idea how successful she was as an Olympian.

Biles is the American gymnast with the most Olympic medals (11), and she certainly knows that now.

Biles, who stands 4 feet 8 inches tall, missed out on a medal after falling off the balance beam in Monday’s final.

She bounced back with a silver medal in the floor exercise to close out her bid for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Still, Biles was thrilled with her performance, which saw her win four medals in five events.

“Just another reminder that my wife is the best,” Owens said after Biles won her third gold medal.

“I’m so proud, happy and bittersweet that this journey is over. It’s so hard to believe. My third Olympics has just flown by,” Biles said.

Biles told the Today show on Tuesday that she and Owens plan to start a family eventually, but kept the door open for her to compete in the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.
