A 35-year-old woman was raped by a perverted man on a Bronx street this week while asking for directions, police said.
Police said the suspect stopped the woman just after 1 a.m. Monday on the northeast corner of Bergen Avenue and East 149th Street in Mott Haven.
Authorities say he assaulted her after she asked him for directions and then raped her at a commercial intersection.
Police say the pervert fled on foot, heading east on East 149th Street toward Brook Avenue.
The victim was taken to Lincoln Medical Center in stable condition.
The attacker, who was wearing a backpack, is described as about six feet tall and of dark skin.

He was last seen wearing a black shirt with a multi-colored pattern on the front, black pants and black shoes.
