In a post after Democratic presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris announced Walz’s selection on Tuesday, the Unfettered State Movement’s X social media account quoted senior adviser Elian Farhat as saying Walz “has demonstrated a remarkable ability to evolve as a public leader, rallying together a diverse coalition of Democrats to achieve important milestones for Minnesota families of all backgrounds.”

Asma Nizami, an organizer of the Minnesota campaign who also led the state’s primary election campaign, sought to remind Americans that “Gaza is watching.”
