The FBI and state police searched the upstate New York home of former United Nations weapons inspector Scott Ritter on Wednesday, Fox News Digital confirmed.
FBI agents and state police were seen entering Ritter’s home in Delmar on Wednesday afternoon.
It is unclear why the home was searched, or whether Ritter, who has had legal troubles in the past, was at the home at the time.

This is the second time in the past decade that Ritter has been charged with trying to solicit an underage girl for illicit sex. In 2001, he was the subject of a police sting operation in Colonie, New York, where he was accused of trying to solicit a police officer by posing as a 16-year-old girl.
Ultimately, the charges were dismissed and the case was sealed.
