You don’t know anything, Kit Harington.
The “Game of Thrones” star, best known for playing Jon Snow on the hit HBO series, was totally “wowed” by friends during a funny and awkward encounter with a fan in London.
Harrington was recently out with friends when he was stopped on the street by what appeared to be an obsessive fan.
“Every now and then, I’ll be in the city center and someone will come up to me, usually a tourist, and they’ll say, ‘Can I take a photo with you?’ and I’ll say, ‘Yeah, sure!'” he explained in a behind-the-scenes video promoting Zynga’s new video game. “Game of Thrones: Legends”
“I go and I put my arm around them and they say, ‘No, no, no, me and Big Ben,'” he continued, adding: [his] After an “excruciatingly embarrassing” moment, they became “friends.”
Harrington, 37, said the awkward exchange was “common,” and joked that it was actually “the opposite of how fans interact with each other.”
But overall, he emphasized in the video that fans of “Game of Thrones,” which aired from 2011 to 2019, have “always been amazing” and that his interactions with them have been “great.”
Harington has partnered with Game of Thrones: Legends, a new game that allows fans to craft and build their own homes alongside the show’s iconic characters and battle buddies, and marks the actor’s first time returning to the series in any capacity since 2019.
“I’m so happy that the Game of Thrones universe continues five years after my role ended,” he said, adding that the show’s spinoffs, House of the Dragon and games like Legends, keep the series alive.
“Honestly, it’s been really great to be a part of this,” Harrington said.
Harington, who has two children with wife Rose Leslie, his former “Game of Thrones” co-star, joked that he likes to play games in his free time.
Following the end of the HBO show’s eighth and final season, Harington stepped away from acting to focus on his mental health.
“After Game of Thrones I kind of took a break. I said, ‘I don’t want to work for a year. I want to focus on myself,'” he said in 2021. “I’m really glad I did that.”
Harrington and Leslie, 37, are expecting their first child, a son, in 2021 and a girl in 2023.
In February, it was announced that Harington would star in Jeremy O. Harris’ Slave Play, which will run from June 29 to September 21 in London’s West End.
