This poll shows steep slide in support among pivotal demographic for Democrats

While many polls have shown a surge in support for the Democratic presidential candidate since President Joe Biden left office, one poll shows support for Democrats in key demographics is declining.

a vote Jewish Americans in New York have drifted away from Democrats in the presidential election, according to a Siena College Research Institute poll released Tuesday. Biden beat former President Donald Trump among Jewish voters by 6 percentage points in June.

The latest poll gives Trump a slight lead among Jewish voters, 50% to 49%, a 7% drop in his approval rating since the last poll, lending credence to experts who say the Democratic Party’s radical pro-Palestinian wing is driving Jewish voters into the Republican camp.

Harris’ decision to choose Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (Democrat) as her running mate rather than Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro (Democrat) was seen by many as a concession to the anti-Israel wing of her party.

Some Jewish Americans appear to be taking notice.

Their opposition to the Democratic presidential nominee signals a shift among voters across the country.
