Kamala Harris is a bigot.
Sorry to be so blunt, but you can’t really convey nuance, which the Democratic presidential nominee lost long ago with his blatant discrimination against people of faith, especially Catholics.
Witness her shocking attack on the venerable Knights of Columbus during Brian Buescher’s federal judicial nomination hearing in 2018.
Harris, then a senator, subtly criticized the philanthropic and fraternal organization as “an all-male organization made up primarily of Catholic men” before not-so-subtly criticizing it for adhering to core beliefs about life and family that she called “radical.”
She implied that Buescher’s membership in the group essentially disqualifies him from being a judge, and noted that Sen. Mazie Hirono of Hawaii said that if the nomination is confirmed, ” [his] To avoid any bias, do not belong to this organization.”
This is called a religious test for holding public office, and it is illegal. For more information, see Article VI of the U.S. Constitution.
In other words, Kamala Harris is a Catholic and a person of opposing religions. she People with political ideologies should run for office.
More simply put, Kamala Harris does not believe in the Constitution.
Rather, Harris is deeply steeped in the left’s new view of religion, that religion should remain within the four walls of the home or place of worship, and that in order to participate in society one must reject it.
Nowhere is this more evident than in her Senate sponsorship of the Orwellian-titled “Do No Harm Act,” which would have required medical professionals to perform abortions and other procedures even if they went against deeply held religious beliefs.
And he would shut down charities like the Left’s favorite punching bag, the Sisters of the Poor (a group of celibate nuns, of all things), for refusing to violate Catholic teaching on human sexuality.
“The Do No Harm Act would ensure that people cannot use the law to discriminate against someone because of their race, sex, sexual orientation or gender identity,” Harris said of the bill at the time.
Apparently, in Harris’s view, using the law to discriminate against someone is because Any infringement of religion is totally unacceptable.
It’s a position the Supreme Court has repeatedly rejected over the past decade, as Harris and her colleagues on the left have only increased pressure on Americans to keep their faith locked away in domestic coffers.
For example, she was a supporter of the Equality Act, which would have required religious institutions of all kinds, including churches themselves, to violate their core beliefs in the name of “gender ideology.”
The bill would strip religious rights from faith-based institutions, such as schools, charities and adoption agencies, by allowing the government to prosecute them for discrimination for refusing to hire people who openly oppose its religious teachings.
The Equality Act was bipartisan legislation supported by then-Senator Joe Biden that would repeal the 1993 Religious Freedom Restoration Act, which guarantees that the government cannot infringe on the religious rights of Americans.
The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, not known for its fierce political statements, bluntly stated that the Equality Act “ignores religious freedom.”
But that’s not all: As California’s attorney general, Harris was a supporter of the FACT Act, which would have forced pregnancy centers, many of which profess Catholic or Christian affiliations, to refer women to abortion clinics, undermining their faith-based mission.
And she joined 13 other attorneys general in 2013 in asking the Supreme Court to force Hobby Lobby and other religiously affiliated employers to cover things like abortion pills in health insurance plans.
Both cases fell victim to the Supreme Court stepping in to protect the conscience rights of religious Americans.
Kamala Harris doesn’t believe she can be both a Knight of Columbus and a federal official.
She believes Christian doctors should be forced to perform abortions.
She believes teachers in Catholic schools should be forced to teach gender ideology.
But if you are a devout Catholic or devout Christian, Kamala Harris you Extremist.
Kamala Harris thinks like a bigot because she is a bigot.
