Tom Cruise has taken Hollywood to Paris and back to Hollywood again.
The Mission: Impossible star descended from the top of the Stade de France after singing “The Star-Spangled Banner” at the Closing Ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics on Sunday, August 11.
The camera panned to the top floor of the building to show Cruise flying effortlessly through the air and then descending towards the athletes competing in the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad.

After wading through the throngs of competitors, Simone Biles and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass handed Cruz the flag and instructed him to bring it back to the United States to mark the handover from Paris to the upcoming 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

“Thanks Paris! Heading off to LA now,” Cruise said on X.
In the pre-recorded footage, Cruise boards the plane through the city before flying to the top of Los Angeles’ Hollywood sign, where the Olympic rings are set to be displayed.

The “Top Gun: Maverick” star filmed part of the commercial in March, posing to show off his abs atop the iconic landmark.

Players toured the city before the flag was eventually transported to Venice Beach, where the Red Hot Chili Peppers performed and then Billie Eilish took to the stage.
