President Biden has a relaxed schedule this week as he appears to be taking it easy towards the end of his term with Vice President Kamala Harris taking over the reins of power.
Biden is due to return to Washington, DC, on Monday morning after spending the weekend at his home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, where he was photographed soaking up the sun with his family over the weekend.
The president has no public events scheduled for Monday and only two for the entire week, one more than last week. Cancer Moonshot He will attend an event in New Orleans on Tuesday, then appear at a rally for Harris in Maryland on Thursday.

Kamala Harris has avoided interviews for more than two weeks since becoming the Democratic nominee
Biden’s relaxed schedule comes as a wave of global events require U.S. leadership. Israel is on the brink of war with Iran and its terrorist group, which has provoked Hezbollah rocket attacks in recent weeks and Hamas has refused to make progress in ceasefire talks.
After announcing his withdrawal from the 2024 presidential race, Biden said achieving a ceasefire agreement was his top priority before he left office.

Biden’s only big news moment in recent days was an interview with CBS that aired on Sunday. In conversation with host Bob Costa, Biden revealed that intense pressure from Democrats had led him to drop out of the race.
Pelosi denies having “good” relationship with Biden: “I’d have to ask him”
“Many of my Democratic colleagues in the House and Senate thought that I would hurt them in the campaign, and they were concerned that if I continued to run the campaign, that it would become a talking point, that I would get interviews about why Nancy Pelosi said that, why she said that, and that it would be a real distraction,” Biden told Costa.
