Donald Trump maintains his lead over Kamala Harris, according to a new Fox News poll.
The poll showed Donald Trump leading 49% to 48%.
Former President Trump is leading Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris by one point in the 2024 presidential election, according to a new Fox News poll.
The poll, conducted Aug. 9-12 among 1,105 registered voters with a sampling error of plus or minus 3 percentage points, showed Trump leading Harris by one point, 50 percent to 49 percent. Harris also trailed Trump by one point last month, 49 percent to 48 percent.
If we look at voters who have negative views of both, it’s even better news for Trump.
Among these voters, Trump leads Kamala Harris by 15 percentage points.
Democrats (94%) are one percentage point more likely to support Harris than Republicans (93%) who support Trump, but a minority of independents support her by an 8-point margin.
Trump has retained 95% of his 2020 supporters, while Harris has won 93% of Biden’s 2020 supporters, while each has won 49% of first-time voters (those who have not voted in the last four general elections). Last month, first-time voters favored Trump over Biden by 7 percentage points.

The new poll also shows that people who live in union households support Harris by 10 points, while voters who have served in the military support Trump by 22 points.
Biden-Trump double haters (people who have unfavorable opinions of both) support Harris by 41 points, while a smaller group of Harris-Trump double haters support Trump by 15 points.
