“Once again, left wing keyboard warriors have taken @JDVance’s words out of context. In the rest of the video (which was intentionally cut), JD goes on to say there are positives to the immigration wave and that we have slowed down immigration from these countries to give people time to assimilate,” Price said. Written“All of that is completely accurate.”

Vance’s words were in an interview with Jack Murphy. spoke We spoke about immigration and how there were “negatives” but also “positives” to the huge waves of immigrants from Italy, Ireland and Germany coming to America.
The Republican senator explained that in the 1920s the US “slowed down immigration” and allowed those who came to America to “integrate” into the fabric of the nation.
“Obviously, there was a big wave of Italian immigration – mainly Italian, Irish and German immigrants. And that brought problems, too. It led to higher crime rates, it led to ethnic clusters, it led to ethnic conflicts within the country – we hadn’t had any of that before. So, obviously, it had its downsides. [and] “There was a positive side to it. One of the great things we did in the 1920s was slow down immigration a little bit. We allowed people who were coming into this country as new citizens to become integrated into the larger American fabric.”
