Taylor Swift revealed how she plans to deal with difficult days ahead at her London Erasus Tour concert on Friday night, following last week’s thwarted terror plot in Vienna.
She revealed the secret to fans who gave her a standing ovation after her performance of “Champagne Problems,” a track from “Evermore.”
“Not only was I recording that video in my head, but I’m sure my parents were recording it on their phones too.” She smiled..
“On sad or bad days, I not only play the video in my mind, but I relive that moment over and over again. Thank you so much for giving it to us.”
Friday marked Swift’s second return to the stage since performing in Warsaw, Poland in early August. She was scheduled to bring her record-breaking Erasus tour to Vienna after Warsaw, but was forced to cancel the show after a terrorist attack was scheduled to occur during her performance.
The 34-year-old Grammy Award winner’s three shows, scheduled for August 8th, 9th and 10th at Ernst Happel Stadium, were cancelled on the same day that two young men were arrested in connection with the terrifying plot.

Omar Hajjawi Pirchner, director of the National Security Intelligence Agency, said on August 8 that the attackers planned to kill “as many people as possible” using knives and possibly homemade explosive devices.
Speaking about what would have been Swift’s first ever performance in Vienna, Mayor of London Sadiq Khan told Sky News that fans would be able to watch her perform “safely” in the English capital.
“We have extensive experience policing these events,” he said, “and police work closely with city hall and the council, as well as with those organising concerts such as the Taylor Swift concert planned for the coming weeks.”
Swift has yet to publicly comment on the matter.
The ‘Anti Hero’ hitmaker has been spotted for the first time since the terrifying plot unfolded in London earlier this week, keeping fans hopeful they’ll get to see her perform.
In addition to the Thursday and Friday concerts, Swift will perform in London on Saturday, Monday and Tuesday.
She will then return to North America for a series of shows across the U.S. and Canada before officially concluding her Eras tour on December 8th.
