Robert De Niro’s eldest daughter, Drena De Niro, shared a video of her jumping off a yacht in celebration of her father’s 81st birthday.
“Happy 81st birthday to my dad and #1 buddy,” she said. she captioned the Instagram post.“With all my love ♥️♥️♥️ #BobbyD forever ✨👑.”
In the video, the shirtless “Goodfellas” actor jumps into the ocean from a yacht wearing only red and blue striped pants. Vilebrequin swim shorts.
Robert dived in headfirst but ended up hitting the water on his back.
“He’s so crazy. Oh my god. Oh my god. Are you OK?” Drena, 56, asked as her father surfaced.
“It’s OK,” the father of seven replied.
Drena told Robert that the epic leap was “amazing” and “crazy.”
The actress asked a yacht employee how many feet her father jumped from, to which the employee replied, “36 feet.”
Dreena’s comment section was flooded with birthday wishes for the legendary actor.
“HBD is 1 of 1, the best in NYC. 🏛️🥂,” one user wrote.
“Happy birthday to the best actor in the world ❤️,” another added.
“Happy 81st birthday to the greatest actor of all time. And always will be. From a huge fan ❤️❤️❤️❤️,” he commented in the third person.
“Happy birthday OG!!!!!! I hope everyone still looks this great at this age! God damn it,” a fourth fan commented.
In an Instagram carousel, Drena, who Robert adopted during his marriage to Diahn Abbott, shared an old photo of The Irishman star with his late son, Leandro.
In July 2023, Drena announced that her son, born to graffiti artist Carlos Rodriguez, had died at the age of 19.
The New York City coroner told Page Six in August that Leandro died from a “toxic” combination of illegal drugs.
Upon hearing of his grandson’s death, Robert released a statement saying he was “deeply saddened.”
