Tim Allen Reveals He Is Reading the Bible, Saying it’s ‘Amazing’

One of America’s most popular actors said he read the Bible for the first time in his life and was deeply moved by its eternal wisdom. Home renovation, Toy Story Franchise, and Santa Claus The film fan made the comments in a post on his former Twitter account, X, which sparked congratulations from many fans of all faiths.

His post has been viewed over 2 million times and liked 100,000 times.

“I haven’t really taken the time to really read the Bible in years,” Allen said, “and now I’m almost done with the Old Testament in the Jerusalem Bible and I’m almost done with the Prophets. Next up is the New Testament. So far it’s been amazing and totally unexpected.”

Fans praised his journey.

“God bless Tim and your journey,” one person wrote.

“You have brought joy and laughter to our family for decades,” wrote another. “Now we pray that as God draws you closer to Him, you and your family will be blessed 1000 fold with the joy and power found in God’s Word.”

Another person humorously wrote, quoting Allen’s Buzz Lightyear line, “To the Corinthians… and beyond!”

Pastor in California Gregg Rolie Allen also gave praise.

“That’s great, Tim!” wrote Laurie. “The Bible is God’s Word to each of us. Its message is how we develop a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. I encourage you to read it. John 3:16Jesus said, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

This is not the first time Allen has spoken about his faith – he credits God with helping him get out of the depths of addiction when he was convicted of drug possession in the 1970s and served two years in prison.
