Vice President Kamala Harris has never taken a tough stance on the border, despite what her campaign would have Americans believe, House Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-Minn.) said. Breitbart News Daily.
Harris’ campaign recently released an ad that makes it seem like she is committed to border security, even featuring former President Donald Trump’s wall.

“She’s been totally anti-wall from day one,” Emmer said, explaining that “she wasn’t the only one to vote against the wall.”
“As you pointed out, she didn’t like the funding for the wall. She didn’t like the wall itself. She came up with every excuse possible to vote against something that Donald Trump actually campaigned on and, frankly, was very successful on before the Biden-Harris administration even took office,” Emmer said.
“Just look at the fact that Kamala Harris was appointed border secretary within the first few months of the Biden administration and did nothing,” Emmer continued.

“So if she now claims to be a big border officer and in favor of border security, I have a bridge for you in Brooklyn, if you believe that,” the congressman continued, repeating what Carolyn Leavitt, a national spokesperson for the Trump campaign, said. Breitbart News Saturday.
“It’s absurd to think that she can run this ad on television and not be punished. She’s accusing President Trump of opening the border. She’s accusing President Trump of allowing a wave of violent crime. Anyone with common sense and eyes and ears who has lived through the past four years knows that’s the exact opposite of the truth,” Leavitt said, noting that the Biden-Harris administration has halted construction of the border wall and reversed all of Trump’s effective policies, including Remain in Mexico.
“And Kamala Harris takes 100% responsibility. The fact that she’s running this ad and blaming President Trump for her crisis, for leaving Kamala Harris and Joe Biden with the most secure border in history, shows that Kamala Harris and the Democrats know that immigration is going to cost them a lot in this election,” Leavitt added.
