Former MLB pitcher Greg Swindell's daughter, Brenna, has been found two days after his wife announced she was missing, he posted. Tuesday Morning About X.
The Travis County (Texas) sheriff's office said they found a 29-year-old man who had been spending the night with his ex-girlfriend, Morgan Guidry, who was arrested and taken into custody on a sheriff's office warrant. From NewsNation.
“She has been found. That's all for now,” Gregg tweeted. “Thank you to everyone who has truly helped with this process. 🙏🏼”
In a subsequent tweet, he wrote: “Thank you for all the messages, calls and most importantly, prayers. The journey home will begin soon. Best of luck 🙏🏼.”
Brenna's disappearance was first revealed on Sunday when her mother, Sarah, announced she had not heard from her daughter since August 22nd.
“Her phone is off and she has no contact with family, friends and most importantly, her children.” Sarah wrote on Facebook“Her ex-boyfriend in the photo has an outstanding arrest warrant and is violent so if you have seen or heard from either of them please let us know. She is still missing in her white Kia Carnival. We are filing a missing persons report and will be turning her in to Austin Police soon. Thank you and please share. Breanny, if you see this, we all love you so much and we want you to come home!”
Sarah later updated her post to say the car was on its way to Colorado and stressed that she felt her daughter was in danger.
“I am so grateful for all the information and offers of help I have received from everyone in Colorado, but I don't know where she is in Colorado or if she is still there. Please continue to let me know if you have any sightings or information,” Sarah wrote. “Again, her boyfriend is in violation of the law for assaulting her last month and I don't know if she went with him voluntarily, was asked to run away with him, or if there is some other reason. I would never expect her to abandon her three children or run away without an explanation, so I feel she is in danger until proven otherwise. Thank you everyone again.”
Greg, who played 17 years as a major league pitcher for six teams, including the 2001 World Series champion Diamondbacks, posted to X a press release on Monday from the Austin Police Department's Missing Persons Search Unit announcing his daughter's disappearance.
