Dave Rubin of The Rubin Report may call NBC “a corporate giant feeding the masses a drug called fake news,” but even the host can't ignore Kamala's refusal to do interviews without a teleprompter.
“Harris will have no press conferences, no sit-down interviews,” one host said.
“Let's call this the 'Harris honeymoon'. When will the 'Harris honeymoon' end? At some point she's going to have to sit down and do a serious interview, unscripted, maybe even a full press conference,” he added.
Another presenter points out that when asked by a reporter about her economic plans, “what she said actually didn't make much sense.”
“She just kept saying over and over, 'That will be a return on your investment, that will be a return on your investment, that will be a return on your investment,' and she repeated that four times over the course of 30, 60 seconds, and it wasn't very convincing,” the host continued.
When Kamala finally sits down for a serious, unscripted interview, it will be a very consequential one and could easily work against her.
“If she makes one wrong move, it could become a news story,” she added.
The three jurors then turned to Chuck Todd, who said the only thing Americans really got out of Kamala was “her last campaign.”
“If I were the Harris campaign, that's not the kind of thing I'd want to happen,” Todd explained. “Everything can be weaponized on social media, and unfortunately there's a reason why fewer and fewer elected officials are facing truly impartial media.”
“They won't do that because it's not the questions we ask that are scary, it's the wrong answers they get that are scary and then they use that as a weapon over and over again,” he added.
