Authorities say the wife of a Texas lawyer killed her husband and then committed suicide last week in their $1.6 million home in the San Antonio suburb of Shavano Park.
Jerry Hernandez, 61, and his wife, Sonia, 52, were found dead in their four-bedroom, five-bathroom home on August 21.
The Bexar County Coroner's Office told Fox News Digital that they reported Jerry Hernandez's cause of death as homicide and Sonia Hernandez's cause of death as suicide.

Officers were called to the address just before 8 a.m. that day in response to gunshots heard in the area. When they entered the master bedroom, they found a man and woman dead in bed with gunshot wounds.
Police told Fox News Digital they are investigating the incident as a murder-suicide.

The couple left behind a 25-year-old daughter.
According to Hernandez's online profile, his legal career spans more than 30 years. He was named a top personal injury lawyer by SA Scene Magazine in 2017.
“We are deeply saddened to learn of the sudden passing of our colleague, Jerry Hernandez. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Mr. Hernandez's family during this extremely difficult time,” the Davis Law Firm said in a statement. While we take time to process this news, our priority is to provide support as we cope with this tragic loss together.”

Police said they are not searching for anyone else involved in the incident, and authorities have not released any further details about the fatalities.
