Tom Brady may be retired from the NFL, but he still maintains his physical fitness.
In fact, he's hitting new personal bests in the weight room.
In his latest video on his YouTube channel, “Last Week,” Brady revealed that he will be attempting to break his first bench press record in 18 years.

“Probably around '05 or '06. [New England Patriots teammate] “Matt Cassell,” Brady said when asked when he last tried to max out his bench press weight, “just trying to see if I can lift more weight.”
Brady later revealed that his highest bench press record was 225 pounds for “eight or nine repetitions.”
“I always hope I can lift my own body weight about eight to 10 times. That's a great goal.”
But Brady was up to the task, thanks to his business partner Ben Lawitz helping him progress towards his personal best.
The legendary quarterback started out bench pressing 155 pounds, then increased his repetitions to 185, 205 and eventually 225, just shy of breaking his personal best.
On the first attempt, Brady appeared to be trying to lift the barbell, but Lawitz grabbed the left side of it.

“It was coming down,” Rawitz said.
But Brady wasn't going to give up. He picked up the bar on his second try and placed it back on the rack without the spotter even touching it.
“I'll take it. Here I go!” Brady responded immediately.

At 47, Brady is clearly still in good physical shape, and he also opens the video by throwing the football to a receiver on the field.
But Brady's new passion is being on Fox broadcasts this NFL season, and the video shows the preparations he's already making with less than two weeks until his debut alongside Kevin Burkhart in the Cleveland Browns vs Dallas Cowboys game.
Brady showed off a binder of notes he'd taken from his playing days and from each season he played, saying he'd use them as a reference for his research this season.
