French DJ and music producer David Guetta (56) has successfully sold his Florida apartment, The Washington Post has exclusively reported.

Guetta, who has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide, bought the Miami Beach unit for $16 million in an off-market deal that closed on Friday.

The home is 2,521 square feet, meaning the buyer paid about $6,300 per square foot, a new record for Miami Beach and the second-highest price per square foot in Miami-Dade County, according to press releases.

The Grammy-winning producer, who has worked with artists including Kelly Rowland, Shabousi, Sia and OneRepublic, paid billionaire businessman Richard LeFrak $9.5 million for the 37th-floor unit at the Setai Hotel and Residences in 2018.

The home, where DJ has lived for six years, has three bedrooms (two of which are master suites), three bathrooms, motorized shades and a wraparound balcony.

The hotel features Sonos speakers throughout and offers stunning city and sea views.

The building is 40 stories tall, with 22 floors of condominiums, several floors of two-story homes, and a penthouse on the third floor. Homes range in size from under 800 sq ft to over 3,000 sq ft. The Setai offers a variety of amenities, including three pools, a beautiful resort area along the beach, gardens, a fitness center, restaurants, 24-hour valet parking, and security.

Other units currently for sale in the building are just steps from the beach, with asking prices ranging from $14.9 million to $2.1 million, and rents ranging from $16,000 to $84,000 per month.

The deal was brokered by Corcoran's Eloy Carmenate, Mick Dushon and Joshua Winarik, who brought in an undisclosed buyer. Corcoran's Michael Weisenfeld represented Guetta.

The Washington Post was unable to reach either agent for comment.
