Netflix chaos Star actress Raqui Ayola said she hopes Vice President Kamala Harris will defeat former President Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election, but will vote for Green Party candidate Jill Stein instead. She also said there are “huge problems” with a Biden-Harris administration and believes the US is “not ready for a woman president.”
“To be honest with you, I don't think America is ready for a woman president, but that doesn't mean people won't vote for a woman. That doesn't mean people won't vote for a woman. [Harris]Ayola, who is originally from Wales and cannot vote in the United States, said Newsweek.
Agreement The actress continued, “Maybe something new and innovative and progressive can only come about when we're not ready to embrace it,” adding, “Maybe it's just by its nature that it can't happen. If we're too comfortable, we just stick to what we have.”
“I hope Kamala Harris beats Trump, but I'm not here to vote. Is America ready for that? Not at all,” Ayoola said.
“But the U.S. [Barack] “President Obama and the reaction to him has been everything that's happened since then in terms of how politics have moved,” she added. “So I hope she wins, but at the same time I say, 'Fasten your seat belts, guys, because this is going to be tough.'”
Ayola also said that if he were in the United States and had the right to vote, “I would vote for Jill Stein.”
