Wendy's will reportedly be releasing its own version of the Club Patty Burger, an iconic dish from Nickelodeon's hit cartoon “SpongeBob Squarepants.”
The underwater delicacies that SpongeBob cooks up at the Krusty Krab will go on sale on October 8th to mark the show's 25th anniversary. Wendy's memo leaked This was posted to Reddit on August 16th.
The sandwich will be part of the Club Patty menu, which reportedly features “Wendy's premium cheeseburger made with fresh, never-frozen beef and topped with fresh ingredients and secret Club Patty Sauce, capturing the appeal of the iconic fictional sandwich for SpongeBob fans.”
Wendy's will also reportedly launch a “Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty,” a nod to SpongeBob's home on the show, which will be made with the chain's “signature vanilla Frosty mixed with pineapple-mango puree.”
The memo said meals at sea level would only be available until Nov. 11.

A spokesperson for the fast-food giant was coy about the reported cartoon collaboration, telling The Washington Post: “While we can't confirm what's coming down the Wendy's innovation pipeline, we're always interested in offering new menu items inspired by our fans' desires.”
