There is no official cure for Trump Derangement Syndrome, but some people with the illness recover naturally.
No one is sure whether it's the idea of Comrade Kamala enforcing price controls, the fact that the aging president of the United States has probably been vacationing at the beach for the last three and a half years, or the fact that inflation is literally out of control.
But Hollywood actor Michael Rapaport is sure of one thing: he was wrong.
“I was the first one to start saying bad things about Trump,” Rapaport told Sage Steele in an interview, “all day, every day.”
“I didn't like the tone he used,” he continued. “It was inappropriate. I would say to him today, 'Hey, you're a f****** mouth. You're the president, you're 79 years old. You're the president, you're 79 years old, and you just got shot in the ear. Bring me some new material and really bring us together.'”
While Rapaport dislikes the way Trump talks, he acknowledges that he likes his policies, particularly when it comes to Israel and the economy.
“First of all, Israel and support for Israel. Iran needs to be permanently starved of funds. I don't know how, but there are ways to impose tariffs financially,” he explained. “So they can't support Hezbollah or the Houthis, who could potentially send drones the size of cars at Tel Aviv.”
“Would this be the first time you've ever voted Republican given these two issues: Israel and money and the economy?” Steele asked the actor.
“I'm not saying I'm voting Republican,” Rapaport countered, but Steele provided some evidence.
“Your words were, 'I might vote for Trump.' Is that painful for you to say?” Steele asked.
“Yes, it pains me. It pains me to be wrong,” he replied. “I was wrong about Israel, I was wrong about the economy. I was wrong.”
Dave Rubin of The Rubin Report is shocked.
“Come on, someone on the left just said something completely insane,” he commented.
