An Islamic leader in upstate New York has reportedly instructed his supporters to “eliminate” Shai Davidie, a Columbia University assistant professor who has led demonstrations against pro-Palestinian protests, riots and encampments.

Tom Fachin, a Vassar College graduate and imam living in Utica Pleaded About Business School Professor Shai Davidi During the webinar on August 20th Various student groups at Columbia University promoted and broadcast a campaign they called “Islamic Political Action.”
“How do we embarrass this guy, Shai Davidi? How do we put him in a position of danger?” asked Facchin, 35. “If we can catch a guy like that and make an example of him, maybe we can silence 100 more people.”
Born in Jersey, Fatchin renounced Christianity as an atheist, met Marx at university and converted to Islam in 2010.
Colombia has reportedly decided not to take further action to protect Davidei.
As Breitbart News reported earlier this year, Davidei was barred from campus, ostensibly for his own safety, after university officials allowed a pro-Palestinian encampment to take hold. The encampment was eventually removed by police when activists violently occupied university buildings, although many of the charges were later dropped.
Columbia University President Minouche Shafik resigned last month after being seen to have mishandled a crisis that threatened to reoccur this fall.
