26 States Block Title IX Revisions Implemented by Biden-Harris Admin

Twenty-six states have blocked Title IX changes implemented under the Biden-Harris administration, and hundreds of colleges and universities are looking to follow suit.

According to Centre SquareTwenty-six states have blocked the reform with injunctions, saying that “students member They represent the two groups that filed the lawsuit: Young America's Foundation and Female Athletes United.”

Spencer Brown, chief communications officer for Young America's Foundation, said in an email to The Center Square that the injunction “stops the Department of Education from punishing and endangering students with novel and illogical rules that jeopardize both free speech and personal safety.”

“Now students can speak their truth knowing the law is on their side, and YAF will continue to fight until there is a final decision from the Biden-Harris Administration to permanently repeal this destructive rule,” Brown added. “Brave YAF activists have been on the front lines of the fight for truth on campus, and some of the most high-profile fights right now are transgender and women's safety. This lawsuit is YAF's way of protecting all students' rights to express their beliefs, and as a result, more students are joining YAF every day.”
