Following Kennedy's decision to drop out of the campaign, RFK Jr.'s former running mate, Nicole Shanahan, endorsed Trump.

Despite the obvious differences between Glenn and Nicole’s policy beliefs, they agree on something broader and more important: the Bill of Rights.
Nicoll says he had been “very comfortable within the Democratic Party for many years” but “something happened in 2016, a chain of events” that left the Democratic Party “amoral,” “unprincipled,” “lacking integrity,” “transparency” and “competence.”
“They feel they have the right to throw out principles like the Bill of Rights, principles like the First Amendment freedom of speech, principles like not interfering with the democratic process, and other very important principles,” she told Glenn. “What they have left as policy is this: do not have “Donald Trump”
“The last thing I said a few weeks before I left the party was, that's not policy, that's not leadership. You can't campaign on a platform of, 'Not Donald Trump,'” she explains. Kamala Harris, as a “woman of color,” is “selling all of that value right now. To me, it's Against Those are the very liberal principles I grew up on.”
Shanahan went on to explain that Democrats' decision to replace meritocracy with “checking a minority box is enough” is actually “a form of racism that creates a hierarchy based on race.”
What she saw in the Democratic Party was, [her] My mother grew up in Communist China, which is a totalitarian state based on a single narrative.”
Glenn believes the average Democrat thinks a lot like Shanahan.
“The average person on my street votes differently, but I don't think they want totalitarianism,” he says.
“How do we talk to them to wake them up?” he asks.
