Operation Interloper was a program set up by the government to “capture” UFOs/UAPs, and expert Luis Elizondo had inside information.
“Essentially, we know through observation that the UAP appears to be very interested in our nuclear weapons and appears to be in and around our waters, so there is no nuclear footprint larger than a carrier strike group,” Elizondo told Pat Gray of “Pat Gray Unleashed.”
“There are nuclear aircraft carriers, there are aircraft that could potentially carry nuclear weapons, there are ships and submarines in the region that could be nuclear-powered and could potentially carry some kind of nuclear weapon,” he said.
Elizondo explains that the idea behind the operation was to set up a “honeypot” that would create “this irresistible giant nuclear footprint in the ocean” that was “bigger than the entire state of New York.”
“We wait until a UAP shows up and then we set a trap,” he said, “and at some point we turn on all of our collection capabilities from the various sources and units in the area and gather telemetry and other information to try to get a better idea of what the UAP is capable of.”
However, the operation was “thwarted at the highest level.”
“We weren't told why, but the actual trap was never set,” he said. “We had to revise the plan. The plan was established, and it was coordinated with various agencies through the Department of Defense, other agencies, intelligence agencies, but at the last moment, at the last moment, it was called off.”
Elizondo isn't sure why the government called off the operation, but he has a theory.
“There is some speculation that it may have been too close to another UAP program that was running at the same time within the government.”
