Majority of Gang Rape Suspects are Likely Immigrant Heritage: Report

Germany's Free Democrats (AfD) claim to have obtained a list of all 2,023 names of suspects in a gang rape case in one state, showing that the majority are of immigrant descent.

The names of suspects in a gang rape case in the western German state of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) have been described as a “clear pattern,” according to a request by the Alternative for Germany (AfD) for information that cannot be found in the normal disclosure of government data.

In 2023, 209 cases of “gang rape” were reported in NRW. Publications Germany's interior ministry responded to questions from two lawmakers affiliated with the right-wing populist, anti-mass immigration AfD party in a report that said there is no actual definition of gang rape in German law, but that the investigation was prompted by looking at reported rape cases recorded in which the suspects were not acting alone.

A total of 155 suspects have been identified in these cases, 71 of whom are German nationals. Statistics already suggest that more than half of the attacks involve immigrants, but the disparity becomes even more apparent when surnames are examined, as German privacy laws mean that surnames can be made public but not surnames.

Germany's AfD wing argues that adding known immigrants to German nationals with obviously non-German names suggests that 76 percent of suspects are of foreign origin. Another analysis of the same data by Germany's official newspaper: Die Welt state Even after excluding all cases with “suspicious” names such as Jason or Luca, the study found that 78.1 percent of suspects were “likely to have had an immigration background.”

Welts The “German” suspect On the list Among them were people with names like “Bilal,” “Ibrahim” and “Muhammad.” As we've previously reported, names like Mohammed and its spelling variations are already common for newborns in Germany as mass immigration continues to reshape German society.

The analysis Welts This is remarkable for a mainstream right-of-centre European newspaper, given the now long-accepted official position that nationality is defined solely by a passport, and that to question this or dig deeper into an individual's origins is said to be an act of racism.

Announcing the publication of the data, the AfD noted that in 2023, a gang rape occurred in NRW “every 42 hours.” And he said They questioned the usefulness of the sparse official statistics that are regularly published.

As a result, AfD politicians Markus Wagner and Ensi Celi Zacharias from NRW demanded more detailed information. It also revealed that the city with the highest number of gang rapes in NRW is Cologne, already notorious for such crimes, and that the most common countries of origin of gang rapist suspects were Syria, Kosovo, Afghanistan and Iraq.

Commenting on the data he had forced out to the public, Wagner said: “Like knife violence, assaults, Islamist attacks or molestation in public swimming pools, the rise in gang rapes is not a matter of destiny. This form of abuse, which often lasts for hours, is a crime mainly brought about by unrestrained migration. It is highly likely that at this very moment migrant gangs in NRW are raping innocent victims. We must put an immediate stop to unregulated migration for the sake of our wives, daughters and all those affected.”

In fact, just hours after Wagner spoke out about the issue of sexual assault in Germany's public pools, a similar incident occurred in Germany. Make headlinesA 12-year-old girl was allegedly raped in a swimming pool changing room by the suspect, who is said to be a Syrian national.

The gang rape statistics came just days after the AfD faction in NRW secured the release of other statistics on knife crime in the state: 47 percent of suspects were found to be immigrants, but the AfD failed to pull off the trick of asking for names in its request for the dataset, and as a result could only rhetorically ask how many of the German suspects were of immigrant origin. Accused The Green coalition government covered up immigration crimes by granting German citizenship to immigrants.
