The Chiefs opened their quest for a third straight Super Bowl title against the Ravens on Thursday, with star tight end Travis Kelce making a grand entrance at Arrowhead Stadium.
Kelsey was photographed entering the stadium, fist-bumping with a security guard as fans cheered off-camera.
In a video posted to social media by the NFL, Kelce is seen wearing a red and white trucker hat, a white and brown button-down shirt and pants and Nike shoes.
“Yes, I am,” Kelsey said to the cameras as he entered the stadium for the Week 1 game.
Oddly enough, in the video, Kelsey can also be heard yelling at someone off-screen, “Go Rangers, baby.”
“I said Rangers,” he repeated, though it was unclear whether he was referring to the baseball team, the hockey team or some other team.
He notably appeared in the 2023 World Series between the Rangers and Diamondbacks in Texas.
The arrival came just hours before the 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff of Thursday's season opener between the defending Super Bowl champions and Baltimore.
The arrival came an hour before the much-hyped arrival of pop superstar Taylor Swift, who has been dating Kelsey for about a year and was expected to be in Kansas City supporting her boyfriend at the opening game.
Swift entered the building wearing a denim top, shorts and dark red boots.
The video showed her arriving at the building, hopping onto a golf cart and being taken to another part of the building.
The football superstar and pop icon have been at the center of a media frenzy since they went public with their relationship last September, when Swift showed up to support Kelsey at a Bears game.
Kelce He spoke about the relationship in an interview with “CBS Mornings.” He said he was happy to accept the role of Swift's chaperone.
“I guess this is the life I chose and I'm enjoying it,” he said.
Kelsey also said her family enjoys all the attention.
