Keith Urban made some bold and bizarre comments about Miley Cyrus' voice.

During the radio interview, Urban sang a bit of Cyrus' hit “Flowers” and was asked what it was like working with the pop star.

The country music singer likened the 31-year-old woman's voice to an “ashtray,” but said he meant it in the best way.

The radio host asked, “What can you tell us about Miley Cyrus and how talented she is? You've worked with her before, right?”

The 56-year-old replied: “I've always loved Miley. I love that voice, that voice.”

“She sounds like an ashtray, and I mean that as a compliment,” he said on the latest episode of Nova 96.9's Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie in Sydney, Australia.
